upgrade 2 mac books without downloading twice

I've got 2 Mac Book Pro and would like to upgrade to El Capitan. The image seems to be 6.8 GB big. Do I need to download this big image twice or is there a way to download it once and submit it to 2 MacBooks.

Thanks,

Olaf

Just duplicate the installer somewhere before you run it, or move the installer out of the Applications folder before you run it. Transfer a copy of the installer to the 2nd Mac before you run it.
