Q: Synchronization of all music across all devices

Hello Everyone:

One issue that has bugged me since the start with iTunes music is iTunes-Match.  I had many tunes downloaded to more than one Apple device for off-the-net listening.  When attempting to enable iTunes Match on an iPhone for example, the warning is displayed, OK to erase all music on my iPhone. Now I have to re-download the songs I would like to listen to off-line.  The idea to me of iCloud storage is "simplicity and ease of use, yes?  Have tunes in the cloud that are not frequently listened to but available when the time is right to listen to, is a prime attractive cloud feature, in my opinion.  This above leads to the larger issue of:  Need to switch iTunes player from "play all downloaded (on-device) tunes" or switch to iCloud and on-device play-back mode, (in-order to listen to both cloud stored tunes and on-device tunes)...   I have had the player stop and start on a song due to poor internet connections, so it would be so much more smooth listening to have a faster method of quickly switching on and off of cloud based music....  Anyway... Hope some of the above makes sense... This music matching feature and cloud storage is not smooth and easy, the reason that prompted this post.  I imagine if the majority of users have a good solid -- "non-metered" -- internet connection all day. then this is definitely not a issue they may feel compelled to be concerned with. The last issue with Match is, are all the tunes uploaded into the cloud actually upgraded to a better quality (I know this is not a voice-frequency-volume leveling service, but would be nice if Match provided that service), I still have several tunes where the volume is low, then others the volume jumps up, sure makes for some alarming non-comfortable listening experience.  Thanks for your time reading this.  Good Day to all!  Hoping this feedback is helpful.
