Oct 5, 2015 11:28 AM in response to intastellaby inknpaper,Same here. I thought it was something I did (well, I suppose it was, I installed El Capitan!). I have since tried to update the password but I am unable to find where to do it in either Mail or Internet Accounts in System Preferences. Why can't I change passwords?
I'm also got a message in Mail saying it is downloading messages 3 of 3, but after a couple of days it's risen to 24 of 24.
Emails are coming through fine on my iPhone and iPad.
What's going on Apple?!

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are not able to login to Yahoo Mail from the Mail app. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

Oct 9, 2015 11:20 AM in response to mario49by inknpaper,Hi Mario,
Neither of the links you suggested helped, I'm afraid. The connection doctor shows all green lights. Yahoo emails send and receive from both the iPhone and iPad fine, but not the Mac (I can send but not receive). Very strange...

Oct 9, 2015 11:26 AM in response to inknpaperby intastella,I'm with inknpaper. Nothing I have seen or tried has helped this issue. Yahoo mail still won't allow me to login in Mac Mail El Capitan. This really feels like a bug.
