Get Album Artwork not working in iTunes.

Hey there,

I'm running the latest version of iTunes 12 on a Mac. When I insert a purchased CD and upload to iTunes the album artwork is not automatically updating.

I highlight the newly added albums and click Get Album Artwork and for 99% of the albums it returns no artwork and I have to do them all manually.

I have checked preferences and can confirm I have 'Automatically Download Album Artwork' ticked. The same computer used to update artwork automatically but it's stopped for some reason.

I've also checked by highlighting the album and selecting 'Find in iTunes Store' just to make sure that it's not a random album, and they indeed show up in the iTunes Store so that should be a problem.

Please help!!!

My iTunes isn't fetching album artwork correctly either. It was working fine until my Apple Music trial ended. I checked all my settings and it should be working, must be an issue on their end... always something 😠

Mine iTunes album art download isn't working either. And what burns me, is what I thought would be the most post popular albums you would think that the artwork would download quickly and correctly. I too, will have to manually download the the artwork.

I posted about this months ago Get Album Artwork Feature Not Working

No replies and no word from Apple. Not sure what is going on. It has been this way for months unfortunately.

been having the same problem. the irony is, anytime i select "show in itunes store" that works every time, even on albums that it can't find the artwork. it seems confounding that in the same application, one action can find something without fail, when another action fails 80% of the time.
