I cannot find a driver for a networked HP LaserJet 500 color printer M551. The HP site's pages have broken links. Please help. Thanks.

I can only find M551n, M551dn and another M551 one.
Do you still have Mountain Lion?

Apple provide HP LaserJet Drivers themselves. Personally I find the Apple versions superior to the HP versions as the Apple versions are not burdened with all the extra HP crud.
Therefore just install this HP Printer Drivers v3.1 for OS X
