Q: no iphoto on new computer
I have a new macbook Pro and my technician moved my software onto it from the old one. But there is no IPhoto. I paid for the old one and I believe I can retrieve it but not sure how. Thanks, David

Hmmm...does this "Photos" thing replace IPhoto, and if so is it just a case of me trying to figure out how to navigate
Apple stopped the further development of iPhoto and new Macs will come with Photos instead of iPhoto as the basic photo management software.
Sooner or later you will have to abandon iPhoto, when it will become incompatible with newer MacOS versions.
Photos is very different from iPhoto.
