Recommended Power Bank output for iPhones

The phone will not charge faster with higher input current, because the phone limits the current coming in. However, for an iPhone 6 or later it will charge slightly faster if the USB source can supply 1.5 amps or more. Older phones will not use more than 1 amp, regardless of what is available from the adapter or power bank.

As long as it's not over 5.1 V, the current doesn't matter. The phone won't take more current than it can handle.
