App Store stuck when logging in
After updating to OS X El Capitan on my Macbook, when I try logging into the app store it becomes stuck and does not proceed. Is there any way to fix this?

I have this too. Fresh (clean) install of El Capitan, but unable to login to iTunes store or Mac App Store. Deleted certificates as specified here. Even tried setting up a new user account, but same problem.
Hoping for a fix soon, or I'm transferring back to Mavericks.
Yesterday I visited the Genius Bar and the Genius was not able to fix this, nor had he encountered it before. He advised to have a conversation over the phone and have made a phone call appointment for tomorrow. Will post here what the outcome was.
In the meantime, did anybody find a solution yet?
Phone call resulted in me attempting to gather data, but the software failed too. I've done a packet trace via the Terminal and sent it to Apple, but it doesn't seem to be of any help. I'm about to call it quits on El Capitan and go back to Mavericks.
it seems everyone is having an app store and itunes issue, i can loginto itunes but not app store, it shows i have 5 updates, and wont log me in when i try to update anything, and the wheel just spins!!!

CLICK ON THE WALKTHRU BLUEISH LINK AND READ READ READ ALL OF THE COMMENTS, THERE ARE A FEW PEOPLE WHO EXPLAIN HOW U DO IT, AND THERE ARE A FEW DIFFERENT DMG FILES SO I HOPE U SELECT THE CORRECT ONE!! IT MIGHT NOT WORK IF U HAVE A NEWER MAC....
j2048b,
Thanks for that link. However, mine does have a serial number, but it is not one that is recognised by Apple, probably due to my motherboard having been replaced under warranty. So, I might be stuck or have to put a fake one in now.
Does the most recent update 10.11.3 fix this issue?
