With El Capitan you need to update to Aperture 3.6.
Apple stopped selling Aperture and all AppStores are giving the " temporarily unavailable" error message.
Try to update by reinstalling from the Purchases tab, not the Updates tab of the App Store as described here:
Leonie -
Under the Purchased tab it shows Aperture, it only has an 'update' box which responds " temporarily unavailable".
I don't see or can't find a any to reinstall.
Thanks
The Purchase tab will show "Update" as long as you have an incompatible Aperture version installed. Did you move the incompatible version from the Applications folder to the Trash as described in the link " Updating to Aperture 3.6 After the Release of Photos " and restarted the AppStore? Remove any installed older Aperture, but do not empty the Trash.
The App Store will show "Update" as long as Spotlight shows Aperture as installed.
That worked - Thanks
