Reset your phone - no data loss
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If that does not work - pop out the SIM card - gently blow on it and into the space - then put it back
Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If there is still no connection - bring it to an AT&T store - you may need a new one
OR if you have access to another AT&T nano SIM card - eg friend or relative - try to put that in your phone and see if it works - if it does then the issue localizes to your SIM
