I can not activate "collated" option in print

I've problem with pages that I can not choose collated option when I'm printing document and because of that I think make me can not print a document and make a 'error while printing'

what does collate mean? I keep getting a message "collate fail error?" it is killing me! What is the deal?

This is used when you're printing multiple copies of a document. Checking the collated box tells the printer to print all of the first copy before starting the second.

You can get this error message if the document is long and the printer's memory fills up. You might check your printer's manual to see if there is a mention of this error.
