Q: External drive trash not working

Since the installation of El Capitan, the secondary HDD of my iMac seems to have messed up with the permissions.

When I try to move any file to the trash, instead of doing it, it warns me that the file will be erased immediately.

FYI, my user, the admin and "everyone" have read/write permissions on all files on this drive.

Any idea?

I'm not sure if the new SIP feature has anything to do with that, but there is also another new feature: you can no longer a way to secure empty trash (at least with SSDs). Here is some info on both:

Don't know, but the drive I'm talking about is not a SSD.

The SIP has nothing to do with an SSD - it has to do with root access and permissions (among other things). I may be way off with that though as I have not learned enough about what it does not allow.

Ok, I've read your link about SIP, but the secondary drive I'm talking about doesn't have any of those directories.
The folder I'm talking about is a "Movies" folder. I use it to store all the movies I download.
After watching a movie, I delete it to save space. Before El Capitan, the file went to trash and then I had to empty it. Now it appears a message asking if I want to delete it, and it deletes it without passing through the trash.
Same thing happens for any other file on that drive.
The primary drive (SSD) and an external USB drive don't have this problem.
