Automator and System Prompts

Hello there,

I am trying to set up a daily soft backup for a few project folders using automator.

I have set up the following parameters in Automator to copy selected folders on a server and paste them over to an external hard drive:

Get Specified Finder Items:

/server/projects/test_folder_1

/server/projects/test_folder_2

/server/projects/test_folder_3

Copy Finder Items:

To: external_drive/test_backup_destination

[ x ] Replace existing files

Display Notification:

You did it!

When I run the .app it fails at the "Copy Finder Items" parameter.

If I do a copy paste using just keyboard and mouse the folders copy over fine. However, I am first given a few prompts:

I receive one prompt for each folder stating that I may be asked for admin credentials to continue.

The only option is to click continue.

The prompt asking for credentials appears.

I input my admin password.

The folders then copy over to the external drive.

My question is:

Is there a way I can get through those prompts in automator so that I do not have to be present during the soft back up?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
