Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Will the Lightning to 30-Pin adapter allow more recent IOS devices (running IOS 9) to use older 30-Pin peripherals like wired keyboards (viz. Macally iKey30)?

Does the adapter conduce simple USB input from 30-Pin peripherals?

Many classrooms use wired 30-Pin keyboards. Will they still work under IOS 9, on lightning port-equipped iPhones, iPod Touches, or iPads?

iPod touch, iOS 9.0.2

My readings indicate that they should. Video through the adapter does not.

Hardwired keyboards are/were not officially supported, though numerous people report keyboards working with thirty pin connector ipads.

You will note the official claims are rather limited.
