Q: OS Yosemite Duel Screen / Split Screen Function

Is there, or will there be a way to use the Split Screen function in the new OS Yosemite with ANY app or program? I really want to use iTunes and Adobe Photoshop together on my Macbook Pro as I have a habit of using them both for work, same with Adobe inDesign etc. I know there is a app called something like "clinch" that does the same, with any app or program, etc but I really wanted to use the one that came with the OS this year. Will there be plans to make this update happen? or am I doing something wrong? It just keeps saying that its 'not available' when I try to split screen / duel screen say safari and photoshop, or iTunes and indesign. Help and suggestions would be much appreciated ! x

Not exactly Split Screen, but you can use Mission Control to tentatively have a split screen.     MacBook Pros don't run iOS.

I know what you mean, thats what I'm taking about. I'm using the new Mission Control function for this "split screen" (sorry I wasn't sure what this was called)... and when I try to use it with two things like safari and iTunes for example, it works. But when I try to do work in adobe photoshop and iTunes for example, the photo shop side of the screen won't work, it won't let me do this new mission control function with adobe photoshop etc. So i'm wondering if that will change anytime soon? so that I may use anything at all and program or whatever and it will "split screen"?  sorry if I'm no great at explaining it. I can add a screen shot - see how in the bottom left corner

Not all applications support split screen.
