Every time I click on anything on a website it redirects me to a whole new tab with ads for things like mackeeper and Norton antispyware, I removed all of the suspicious apps, but it's still happening. Can someone help?

Every time I click on anything on a website it redirects me to a whole new tab with ads for things like mackeeper and Norton antispyware, I removed all of the suspicious apps, as well as I could, by following directions on other forums. I found a solution to this same problem, but it was from 2013, so probably won't work now, because the guy stated that it would only be workable for a few days prob Due to the constant changing of viruses. But, what it most likely then, was vsearch He said.. so.. On that note, can someone help me remove whatever shady thing I must have downloaded along my google journeys. Also, I saw somewhere it could be in the network, and in that forum it was recommended to change my DNS to googles public DNS. I dont know if that helped, but nothing changed, and I don't know if I should, or have to change it back to what it was.. Bc I have no clue what it even is. Lol. So if someone has any info on that issue as well it would be greatly appreciated. I should have come here from the beginning. 😐
