Can you help with permissions on an external drive?

Please help with disk permissions. My command I on the external drive shows (Me) as Read and Write, Second down is Fetching….. Read n Write, and everyone Read only. Format is Mac OS Extended but still says You can only read. I've tried unlocking, but can make no changes. Ignoring ownership does nothing as well. Verify and Repair come up on the upper icon in Disk Utility but not when I click on my custom named external. Ran the repair under the manufactures name in disk utility and got

The partition map appears to be OK

Ran the verify for my named drive and got the following

The volume REvamped could not be verified completely.

Error: This disk needs to be repaired. Click Repair Disk.

Can anyone please help me get this unlocked? !!
