when can we save GIF picture to iphone's photo album?

Seriously, there are many people having a same issue as me. We often see some funny GIF format picture on Tumblr or Weibo (a kind of social media famous in China) and really want to share with our friends. But still, iphone don't have this kind of function even upgraded to IOS 9.

Some people even say that they don't use iphone because it can't save GIF format picture while others do.

Hope there will be a change in the future.
