But in case you missed all the information, there is no way to terminate the free trial during its duration. What you can do however, is log into your appleid and go to the subscription settings and make sure that you have turned off autorenewal for this service, which, if memory serves, is turned on by default. If you do not allow it to autorenew it will just stop working.
If you don't want to have it at all on your phone, go into settings and turn off Apple Music. Then your device will behave as though you never activated it for the Apple Music Service. If you have also enabled it on your computer you will have to change the settings on iTunes as well. (I never updated my iTunes so avoided the problem since we use 3 different apple ids and 7 devices with one computer. Did not want the headache) If you never ever want to see it again, reinstall an older version of iTunes that does not support Apple Music.
