Downloaded purchased version of Rhinoceros 5, attempts to open give a warning that "'Rhinoceros' will damage your computer. You should move it to the Trash." It will not and I will not. Advice? Please?!

And make sure Gatekeeper is enabled on your Mac.
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected.
If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.
