I am new to Mac. Was working on a document in the Pages App which I accidentally deleted. It is not in my Trash. Is there anyway of recovering it?

This is why you save and name your document before you add any content. Once that initial save has occurred, Pages will autosave, and if you are running Time Machine to an external drive for backups, that saved document would be recoverable.
In the File menu of Pages, check in the open recent items to see if the file is listed there, and if it remains on disk, that you can open it. Also, check to see if you saved it on iCloud.
