Accelerometer lag

SInce going to 9.0.2, my iPad Air 2 has acted funny. It's not horrible but just annoying. Turning it takes a good second or two for a response (long enough that you're scrolling around sideways while you wait). When I wake it and turn it around in lock mode it does odd things like this:

I'Ve downloaded testing apps and the accelerometer seems fine. I've restarted and reset the iPad. So I'm wondering if it's a bug in the update or if others are experiencing It. Any suggestions welcome.

I Continue to struggle with this. It's quite annoying. I'll probably clean wipe and reload the whole system tomorrow. Ideas?

its not just the accelerometer. It's clearly a major confusion within iOS itself.

I have restarted and force restarted. No results so far.
