apps in ipod touch

I am using Ipod version 6.1.6 with model no-MC540ZP/A with 8 GB capacity.Right now i am having trouble in playing apps after downloading? plz let me to get out of this problem. I am using valid apple ID even then apps are opening and closing just like that....
