How can I copy and paste the value of a cell to another (not a reference via "=" or a copy of formula of a cell, just the "current" result), as in former versions of Numbers?
Current Number version 3.5.3 (update after installing OS El Capitan)

select the destination, select the menu item "Edit > Paste Formula Results"

Hi,
Just have to copy (cmd C), then select the cell that you want to paste, then (Shift cmd V).
You can find this paste option in edit menu.
Copy to clipboard, click a destination cell once, and choose Edit > Paste Formula Results from the menu.

(Having trouble with forum; sometimes can't see previous replies until I've posted one.)
I sympathise.
CCC and Bob in the Using ASC forum have noted this. They call them "phantom posts".
Also, forum lists do not always sync with the actual number of replies.
(Sigh).

This copies all features of the cell, including formula and format. I just want to coy the value. Fortunately, Wayne and SGIII provided a working solution.
