Update an older MacBook??

I have an older MacBook, currently running Mac OS X 10.6.8. Can it be updated? And if so, to what version? How? See info on Mac below:

Click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7; you should install more RAM in your computer.

Back up your data and check your applications for compatibility before upgrading. In particular, Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC programs such as versions of Microsoft Office prior to 2008.

Hi.

The MacBook2,1 that you have said you own is only available to be updated to Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

As for obtaining a copy of it, you might be able to call Apple or go into an Apple store and ask for a Lion DVD/flash drive. I am not sure, because Lion was the first version of OS X to be distributed through the Mac App Store.
