DVI to HDMI cable

I have a MacBook Pro (Core Duo) and plan to purchase a Sony 40" LCD HDTV. I'd like to connect my MBP to the TV. I'm confused about what cables I need to get.

I'm wondering if I need an adaptor and a cable or just a cable. If just a cable, will this cable do:
