VPN on my MacBook i.e. internet usage is this a good idea?

Hi There,

Is it a good idea to use a VPN? Am guessing only business people use these?

VPN (Virtual Private Network) creates a secure tunnel between end points. This tunnel can be used for secure communicating between these end points. Software is required at both ends of the tunnel. So if you have an end point that is running a VPN and you have the credentials needed to connect to it then you can use VPN.
