Is anyone else having a 6S with IOS 9.0.2 not sensing a swipe to answer a call??

Several time, I have received an incoming call while the phone is locked. I go to swipe to answer the call, as I normally did. There are times that it works perfectly; at other times, the phone does not register the swipe and continues to ring. I see that there were some similar problems with the 5S and IOS 7. Is this a user error (perhaps I'm not perfectly centered), or can I adjust the sensitivity for the swipe? (I know I can for the 3D touch).
