sending an email from Pages

when needing to send an email from Pages with pdf attachment a new email document does not come up.

From Share tab, I select 'send via mail - PDF' and usually it would link to a new email, but now doesn't, so I have to export to PDF and send that way - which has cut out the short cut somewhat.

Annoying as I really like this feature.

Thanks if you can help.

Export the PDF from Pages, and then drag/drop that PDF into the body of a new email. Or click the paperclip icon in the toolbar of Mail compose to attach the PDF that way. Airdrop is not email, but is another wireless means of file transfer between two nearby Macs that support it.

Pages v5.5.3 uses the Share menu ▸ Send a Copy ▸ Mail menu hierarchy, or the Share toolbar icon to send a PDF as a Mail attachment.
