Battery not charging while still using power adaptor

I just have a new battery from the recent repair under protection plan from Apple. Anyone can help?

My problem was similar, and it seems to be a poor contact on the MagSafe connector, resulting in weak current flow, and a inability to charge while also using the power. Try cleaning it with a swab & rubbing alcohol. Apple support points to a poor contact with the ground pin will result in this behaviour. I also wonder if perhaps the MagSafe 2 connector is a bit too proud and does not seat correctly. Sometimes wiggling or twisting the connector a bit will result in a better connection.

See steps 7 & 8 which refer to this issue.
