Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader with iPhone 6S.

I was told by Apple on the chat feature that the Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader would work with my iPhone 6S. I cannot get it to work. Any suggestions?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2
