iPad not backing up to iCloud though there should be memory available

I have 3.68 gigs of memory available in iCloud, but my iPad is not backing up via iCloud backup. Started having this problem when I installed iOS 9... I am getting message that there is insufficient memory available in iCloud. Never had this problem before upgrading.

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
