sync notes in OIS 9?

Why have apple stopped the function of syncing notes in IOS 9 ? It makes notes redundant

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.0.2

Notes sync fine on iOS 9 here.

If you are using iCloud to sync your Notes, tap Settings > iCloud

Toggle Notes off then back on again. Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync your Notes.

sorry, I realise I should have made it clearer that I was talking about notes within a contact not just stand alone notes, which I agree will sync.

I am syncing with my pc not icloud.
