iMovie crashes, can't find recently imported clips

Hi, my iMovie 10.0.09 consistently crashes. While doing some work on videos, it usually freezes and Mac shuts down. Once I turn it on iMovie launches and usually my previously imported videos and music is there. Now it launches and all of my work is gone. When I go to finder, movies, there is no movie events folder. So I tried to reimport videos and do the work all over again, but I received an error that my disk is full. I checked and it seems those videos are already imported somewhere I just don't know where.

Anybody can help me?
