Q: imessage not working reliably after ios 9.0.2 update.

I am having the same problem!!! I am in a group chat with about 10-15 people and I get some messages on time and some like 1 or 2 hours later !!!!! Why is this ?  Will Apple ever fix this ?

I am having the same problem. I updated my phone IOS to 9.02 on my IPHONE 6 yesterday. I am not receiving text messages on time from a group of about 15. After re-booting my phone to see if that would resolve the problem, I  received some of the text messages from two days ago and my phone seems to be uploading them at about 5 at a time. The uploading is not in regular increments.

Not sure if there is a fix for this. I have been looking on line and have not found one yet.

I am having all of the same problems.  I have updated to IOS 9.2. Touch screen not responding, group texts are missing responses from some and missing video/audio messages.  iMessage cuts in and out.  Not receiving other messages. 

Have restored factory settings and tried every other fix mentioned and still having the same problem.  My whole family has also updated their phones to IOS 9.2 but I'm the only one with the problem.  Very frustrating!!

DDid this work? i can send iMessages, some do turn green. My problem is delayed group texts, or ones that I never ever get part of the conversation. I hear at&t is working on this. However, I am getting delayed iMessages at times. 20 minutes on a couple messages coming to me from a friend in the uk. And then my husband today. I sent him a text and I instantly got one from him. I thought, how cute, we were texting at the same time! Then I realized that text was 6 minutes old (timestamp). Yet it showed after the text I had just sent. It's almost like the text I sent triggered it to come through to me. Then, he sent 4 quick messages in a roW. I saw them appear on my lock screen, but when i opened up our conversation, those 4 messages were not there! They appears like 30 seconds later. What gives??? His phone gets all my messages right away, no problem.

OH, I also get duplicate pictures from him occasionally. One comes through as a text and 5 minutes later as an iMessage.

Is this still happening to anyone my iMessage has been temperamental since October and I've done EVERYTHING including get a new phone but nothing has worked..

I Don't send many group messages. But I've noticed a lot of pictures I send to people go through twice. Once as an iMessage and once as a regular text. I only send the picture once. It's really strange.

I am also having issues since the update. Text messages are days late. I do not know what the solution is. Very frustrating.
