I can't upload pictures from my computer to my iPad

I updated my iPad and now I can't upload pictures from my computer to my iPad. It used to give me the option of sync pictures and now when I click on the photos in iTunes it says iPad can access photos in iCloud. Photos can be downloaded to your device via Wi-Fi.
