Boot camp does not recognize my Windows 10 iso file. What should I do?

I downloaded Windows 10 to run with bootcamp and Parallels. But when I start Boot Camp and select my Windows 10 ISO file a message pops up telling me I need a Windows 7 iso file or newer. What can I do? Is there somewhere I can download Windows 8.1 and see if that works any better?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), iOS 9.0.2

1. Are there any pending OS X Updates?

2. You can download W7/8.1/10 from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home using your Product Key as appropriate.

3. Check to ensure that your W10 ISO is not a 32-bit/64-bit mixed ISO and the MD5Sum/SHA1 are valid. You can verify the checksums against the source copies at Microsoft - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home .
