lacie drive keeps ejecting randomly

Hi,

just moved out to Dubai and re-set up my home network, for some reason my Lacie hard drive is now randomly ejecting itself, or being ejected by my Mac mini. Any advice on settings etc would be useful. Not sure if it is the power adaptor as the original has gone missing in the move and I'm using a maplins power supply. my iTunes library is on there and the kids have me running up and down trying to get the apple TV's working...joy.

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

How is it connected?

What specific Lacie drive?

What was output of original power supply/

What is output of replacement supply?

Note the time of the next eject. Open the Console app in Finder>Applications>Utilities and look for log entries right before the time and at the time of the eject. Post suspicious ones here.

I have the same issue here.

iMac 27" 5K with a LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt 2 connected to it. When I try to copy (backup) my Aperture Library (500GB) or my iTunes Library the disk gets disconnected. Error message -36 is shown or I am informed that a file is still being used, which is not the case.

Any idea on how I can solve this problem? Thank you in advance for your help.

The error is now: impossible to continue because Aperture Library is in use. External disk ejects.
