Exporting XML from Logic Pro X to Final Cut X: no regions or automation

Hi!

When I export my projects as XML files for my coworker to import in Final Cut, all it does is bounce all the regions as audio tracks, therefore making it impossible to access the original audio files (for, for example, fading a track later in a scene) or modify the automation (volume, pan, etc.). But from what I understood, XML formats should support automation and include regions that you can modify, not only bounced audio tracks. Am I doing something wrong or is this really the way it works?

Thanks!

Logic Pro X, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), null
