iphone disconnected

For whatever reason when I upgraded to iOS 9.0 and Windows 10 I started to get the following message when I tried to sync my iPhone with iTunes

ITunes could not sync Notes to "sam's iPhone" because the iPhone disconnected

I'm using iOS 9.02, iTunes 12.03.0.44 and Windows 10, I did not have this issue before the upgrade and I uninstalled iTunes and re-installed it
