Does iOS 9.0.2 support Home Sharing?

DEVICES:

- iPad Mini first generation, just upgraded to iOS 9.0.2.

- iPhone 4 (WiFi only, no cellular contract) with iOS 7.1.2 used only to play music.

- iTunes 12.1.3.6 on a Windows desktop PC running Vista. This is the most current iTunes that runs with Vista.

PROBLEM:

- Before the upgrade to iOS 9.0.2, Home Sharing worked fine: no problem sharing MP3's on my PC with the iPad Mini.

- After the upgrade to iOS 9.0.2, Home Sharing is not working on the iPad Mini.

- Home Sharing is still working fine on the iPhone with good old iOS 7.1.2.

QUESTIONS:

- Does iOS 9.0.2 support Home Sharing?

- Anyone on iOS 9.0.2 successfully Home Sharing?

I thought that Apple dropped Home Sharing in iOS 8, but then brought it back (as Apple had promised) in iOS 9.
