I'm currently using Final Cut Pro 10.2.1. After syncing two clips, the audio and images look great. When I take the clips to the storyline and separate them again for further editing, they are now cropped to a smaller dimensions. In some cases, cutting off heads or losing the sides of the video.
Final Cut Pro X, Mac OS X (10.0.x), Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.3
I'll check it out. The new syncing feature in 10.2.1 is really quick but I can't understand why the cropping took place. Are you currently using the same version as me? Thanks in advance. Martin
Yes. I'm using 10.2.1.
If the issue persists using the Angle Editor, post back with some further details.

Are you syncing or making a multicam clip?
separate them again for further editing
What does that mean? What exactly are you doing? Post sscreenshots of what you're seeing, before and after. Give the media specs and the project properties.

I took your advice with angle editor and also Googled a few videos on the subject. Took care of the problem right away. Not sure why the other sync feature causes a problem but maybe another answer on down the road will show itself. Thanks so much for making my day go a little smoother. 🙂

Thanks Tom for sending a note my way. I received a reply from another support person and solved it using the Angle Editor feature for viewing as well as Multi -
Cam commands.
