After syncing two clips and separating them, the new clips have been cropped smaller than the original. I'm using Final Cut Pro 10.2.1

I'm currently using Final Cut Pro 10.2.1. After syncing two clips, the audio and images look great. When I take the clips to the storyline and separate them again for further editing, they are now cropped to a smaller dimensions. In some cases, cutting off heads or losing the sides of the video.

Final Cut Pro X, Mac OS X (10.0.x), Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.3

If you need to edit the multi clip, it should be done in the Angle Editor.

Thanks Russ,

I took your advice with angle editor and also Googled a few videos on the subject. Took care of the problem right away. Not sure why the other sync feature causes a problem but maybe another answer on down the road will show itself. Thanks so much for making my day go a little smoother. 🙂
