Mid 2010 iMac won't boot after installing more ram. Can reinstall OS X and system runs correctly and recognizes new ram but if shutdown will not reboot

iMacs are EXTREMELY sensitive to RAM. If you bought the RAM from any but Crucial or OWC (www.macsales.com) then return and buy it from one of these vendors.

TThanks for the info called ramjet and got RMA# sending back tomorrow. unfortuality I have same problem with original ram installed. I just reinstalled OS X and computer works correctly bot won't boot after shutdown
