iMacs are EXTREMELY sensitive to RAM. If you bought the RAM from any but Crucial or OWC (www.macsales.com) then return and buy it from one of these vendors.


RAM issues are ALWAYS one or more of:


  • Failed RAM
  • Incorrect RAM
  • Unseated RAM
