Gmail password exposed

I am using ipad mini2 (os 9.0.1) and I sent an email (gmail) through the email app on my ipad. I found that my gmail password was shown as my name (sender of the email). I immediately changed my password. I am wondering if anyone else has experience this problem and whether there is a way to fix this.

It sounds as if, when setting up your Gmail, you put the password in the name field. The easiest way to fix it is to delete the Gmail account from your phone and add it back. Make sure to pay careful attention to the labels for the fields in which you're entering information.
