6S iOS 9.0.2 Messages no sound or notification

My new 6S on iOS 9.0.2 not only doesn't show any notification of a new text message on a locked screen (tho I have it set to do so),

it doesn't show a little red circle number on home screen AND it doesn't emit a sound or vibrate wether the screen is locked or not.

But when I open the app - there's my new message but w/o the blue dot - as if I'd already read it.

It properly alerts ONLY when I send myself a text

Anyone?
