Delete epub from itunes library

hi folks,

my dad wants to delete epubs from the itunes library.

We've imported the epubs to the library. They appear in iTunes and we can sync to the iPad. however, we want to delete half of the books from the library so he can sync all and it still fits on the iPad. We have too many books to sync all as they are.

SO it is either hand-pick every book, or delete the library and reimport just half of the books..

Can anyonee help?
