Macbook Pro doesn't discover Magic Mouse

Hey there,

I have just bought a new Magic Mouse.

I'm using a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), running OS X 10.10.5 (14F27).

Unfortunately, my MacBook won't discover the mouse, no matter what I try to do.

I've confirmed with a friend that the mouse is being discovered properly, so the mouse itself is good.

I also tried to pair my MacBook with my phone (LG G3) and it worked just fine.

However, seems like the combination of the mouse with my MacBook won't work.

Here's what I've tried so far:

Nothing works..

Does anyone have a suggestion? This is really frustrating.. 😢

Thanks!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Eventually, clearing the PRAM (holding Command + Option + P + R keys while rebooting and hearing the chime at least twice) has done the trick.

I'm now finally able to use my magic mouse.
