Text message virus

I belive following text message is a scam, includes a virus:

Your lost iPhone finded Apple Support team many days gone location still available in your city

See Location Now : http://bit.ly/1LfHUT3

The telephone number of the sender is 353 (86)085 9615, apparently from Ireland. I have received the same massage four times. Makes me wonder why since I have not lost my iPhone and got the message in the same phone as the sender claims to be lost. Please don’t try to open the link, it will probably infect your computer.

Can anyone confirm this as a scam? I simply don’t belive Apple will send a message like that in bad English and without any other confirmation in e-mail.
