No service found after iOS 9 update

After updating to the iOS 9 on my iPhone 5s my 'carrier setting' was taken away in my setting options and my service is constantly searching. I also cannot update to the iOS 9.0.2 on my phone separately or through iTunes on my laptop.

I am having a similar problem with my iPhone 6 losing network connections. I think that, in my case, the culprit seems to be WatchOS 2. If you have an Apple Watch and upgraded to WatchOS 2, you might want to try restoring the phone to before you had installed WatchOS 2.
