Q: Few Things to note

First of all thank you for this article. It is simple and straight forward - even for a Windows fan like me. But there are 2 things important to note:

1. I had to download Yosemite from my AppStore Previous Purchases. I did not know that and had to search around the net to figure this out.

2. There is a typo in the command example. At least for the computer I worked with. This command did not work:

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /volume/MyVolume --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app

I had to add an "s" to /volumes/

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /volumes/MyVolume --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app

Of course I also had to change "MyVolume" to the name of my USB stick as displayed on the desktop or in the finder side bar.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11)
